Jogging

I start jogging last Friday... It hurt!
I jogged Saturday... It hurt!
I jogged today... It still hurt, but a little less.

I need to get back in shape. Since leaving college, I gained at least 30 pounds and started snoring. Add to that the fact that I work from home and don't walk anywhere because of our stray dog culture here (that means that wherever you walk, you'll have a hundred dogs following you, barking and growling) and you can guess in how much of a shape I am.

Gone are the days where I could just take up running with a 45 minute jog. I can barely manage a one mile run! But today, I did one mile and walk another extra mile with little bouts of running.

I feel great. I plan to keep doing this but I'll take it only a day at a time for now. Too many times have I taken up something only to give up one or two weeks later.

I also plan on eating more salad and soup, cutting all fried foods (which is hard here, since everything is fried) and eating less bread. We'll see how that goes... I lose my willpower when I get hungry!
